Entered family business REW Audio Visual Plc : 1967

Joint Managing Director 1975-1979

Sold company to Thorn-EMI Plc for £3.5 Million in 1979

 

Divisional director of Thorn-EMI Plc 1979-1982

 

Founded Vision Technology Group Plc 1982-1993

This became the largest mail-order computer supplier in the UK with £35 Million annual turnover.

 

Founded PC World Plc computer superstore group 1991-1993.  Opened the four largest flagship stores around London in 24 months, attaining an annual turnover of £50 Million.

 

Sold PC World Plc superstores and Vision Technology Group Plc to Dixons Group Plc for £9.5 Million in 1993

 

Moved to France 1993-1995, then to Guernsey 1995 to present.

 

Founded Internet Technology Group Plc in 1995, an Internet Service Provider formed to offer high speed connections to business customers and the general public.

Floated Internet Technology Group Plc, on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, 1998.

 

Voted “UK Internet Service Provider of the Year” in 1999 and 2000.

 

Sold Internet Technology Group to Concentric Corp.(Nasdaq.CNCX)/Nexlink Corporation (Nasdaq.NXLK) for $250 Million in 2000, the largest sale of an independent ISP in the UK.

 

Currently, director of several high-technology companies, including:-
